Pandemic time, was able to quarantine with my family in Chiba for 2 weeks, then visit Miyazaki in September 10-17 before Japan's travel restrictions went up. Why are they all out in the same area where it's crowded? Sure a bit better but nicer up the beach. I don't think board shorts are the go.
Any further over and the current starts pulling, jetty was working well. Board shorts are fine during this time. Wetsuits are more of a cultural thing in Japan.

Yes sir. I chanced it in July and failed on this trip. I arrived about 5 days after a typhoon, then one came a couple days after I left. Sept-Jan seems to be the biggest. I think typhoon season is Aug-Dec. Regardless, I still had fun checking out the spots.

Nice, if you love the ocean, difference foods, different cultures, etc... then you'll love it there. It's all about the ALOHA. Everyone there is so much nicer than here on the mainland. I move back after this October myself. I shot this vid during my school break.
OahuKidd yes! I love all that stuff. I live in los Angeles, is the cost of living in Oahu really much more exspensive vs. living in LA?? and what part of Oahu should I move to if 'm both into the city life and the "homey" cultural life of Hawaii. I really don't want to pay the price of living in wikiki but I don't want to be too far from the city either. any advice??
